PRAYER : Writ Petition filed Under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of Mandamus, direct the respondents to consider and pass orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 21.06.2014 for granting further subsidy of Rs.15,00,000/- as Tsunami relief assistance to the petitioner for creation of asset (mechanized boat).

The relief sought for in the present writ petition is to direct the respondents to consider the representation dated 21.06.2014 for grant of further subsidy of Rs.15,00,000/- as Tsunami relief assistance to the petitioner for creation of asset (mechanized boat).
2. The representation submitted by the writ petitioner on 21.06.2014 admits that the petitioner had received the subsidy amount of Rs.5,00,000/- (Rupees Five Lakhs) from the Tsunami Relief Fund and the said amount had already been utilized.
3. The petitioner seeks further subsidy. This Court is of the considered opinion that the subsidy can never be claimed as a matter of right. Subsidy is granted under the Scheme, more specifically, on terms and conditions. As per the terms and conditions, the petitioner had already been granted with a sum of Rs.5,00,000/- (Rupees Five Lakhs only) towards subsidy and the petitioner had utilized the same.
