The instant writ petition has been filed with a prayer for issuing a Mandamus, to direct the respondent No.2 herein to consider and pass order based on the petitioner's representation dated 13.09.2024 seeking for appointment on compassionate ground for the post of 'Cook'.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner had submitted a representation dated 13.09.2024, requesting appointment to the post of Cook under the compassionate appointment. It is the further submission of the petitioner that such representation is yet to be considered by the respondents.

3. However, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would invite the attention of this Court is that the petitioner's representation has already been considered and rejected by the respondent vide order dated 22.05.2025.

4. In such view of the matter, this writ petition has become infructuous. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to challenge the impugned order dated 22.05.2025, in accordance with law. No costs. 06.06.2025 jas Index : Yes/No Speaking order /Non Speaking Order 3/5
