This writ petition has been filed to direct the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 13.02.2023 within a time frame.

2. The brief facts of the case as set out by the writ petitioner in the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition are that she hails from a socially and economically disadvantaged section of the society. Her mother was working as Second Grade Teacher at TELC Middle School(Aided), Karunagarapani Kinathukadavu, Coimbatore District. While she was in service, she died on 31.01.2022. The petitioner is a trained and qualified Teacher and she has made a representation dated 13.02.2023 to the 2nd respondent seeking consideration for post of Teacher on compassionate ground in any of the schools run and managed by the 2nd respondent.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader for the 1st respondent.

4. Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in the writ petition, this Court deems it fit to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 13.02.2023 within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4
