ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) This petition was filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, alleging willful disobedience of the order passed by this Court on 10.01.2024 in W.P.No.338 of 2024.
2. Learned counsel for petitioner, in fairness, stated that respondents have taken steps to measure the land as also to remove encroachers, if any. After this was done, respondent No.7 in W.P.No.338 of 2024 has filed W.P.No.27059 of 2024, in which an order dated 19.09.2024 had been passed directing no coercive steps to be taken against petitioner therein, that is, respondent No.7 in W.P.No.338 of 2024.
3. Therefore, in our view, there is no wilful disobedience of the orders of the Court. Contempt Petition is, accordingly, closed. (K.R.SHRIRAM., CJ.) (SENTHILKUMAR RAMAMOORTHY., J.) 03.10.2024 Index :
