PETITION under Article 226 of The Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the third respondent to conduct an enquiry on the petitioner's representation dated 6.2.2015 to correct the wrong entry in the land owner name in S.No.132/10, Village No.18, Othivakkam Matura, Ammanambakkam Village, Chengalpet Taluk and consequently issue patta in favour of the petitioner.

ORDER

Mr.M.Digvijayapandian, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for respondents 1 to 3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. In view of the limited nature of relief to be granted, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal without ordering notice to the fourth respondent.

2. The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking a direction to the third respondent to conduct an enquiry on the petitioner's representation wherein he sought for deletion of the name of the fourth respondent from the patta alleging that it has been wrongly included. The second respondent also forwarded a letter to the third respondent on 14.02.2015 asking the third respondent to do the needful in the matter. Therefore, there is no impediment for the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 06.02.2015 on merits, conduct an enquiry and after issuing notice to the fourth respondent and to any other person, who is likely to be aggrieved, pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
