This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for an issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for records relating to orders passed by the first respondent in GO Ms.No.334 Public Works (C2) Department dated 19.10.2007 and consequent proceedings of the fourth respondent in Aa.A2/1934/2007 dated 24.12.2007 and quash the same in so for at it permits the monetary benefits from 19.10.2007 and further direct the respondents to grant monetary and other consequent benefits from the date of the regularisation of services of the petitioner as Helper Grade - II i.e. from 01.07.2001.

O R D E R

With reference to the grievance of the writ petitioner set out in the present writ petition, the Government issued G.O.Ms.No.281, Public Works Department, dated 11.11.2020 granting the benefit of retrospective regularization with effect from the date on which the petitioner had completed 10 years of service with all monetary benefits and the consequential benefits are also settled by the respondents. In this regard, the Assistant Executive Engineer, Egmore, Chennai also issued a proceedings dated 02.06.2022. Thus, the grievance of the writ petitioner has already been redressed and no further adjudication is required in respect of the grounds raised in the present writ petition.

2.Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
