The petitioner herein seeks transfer of investigation in Crime No.06 of 2024 dated 15.01.2024.

It is a case of road accident registered under Section 174 Cr.P.C., on the complaint given by one Saraswathi, who is none other than the wife of the deceased Kumar. The petitioner herein is the father of the said Kumar. It is alleged that the respondent police has not properly investigating the case and they are influenced by certain persons who are interested in the outcome of the investigation. Hence the present petition is filed seeking transfer.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police submits that being the suspicious death, case was registered under Section 174 Cr.P.C. Statements of 12 witnesses and postmortem report does not indicate any violence on the body of the deceased Kumar. The police has completed the investigation and about to file closure report.

The petitioner herein who is the father of the deceased contends that there is no reason for his son to commit suicide and the persons who were with his son before his death were not been properly interrogated.

This Court perused the CD file, the statements of the witnesses so far recorded and the scene of occurrence. The respondent police is about to file a closure report. Notice and copy of the report has to be served to the defacto complainant and proceed in accordance with law.

With this observation, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
