O R D E R

This petition has been filed seeking to quash the FIR in Crime No.246 of 2014 on the file of the respondent police. The respondent police have registered the FIR for an offence under Section 448 of IPC. The FIR is of the year 2014. At this length of time, nothing survives in this case and the final report has not even been filed in this case. This case cannot be kept pending more particular, due to the fact that even if the final report is filed, the same cannot be taken cognisance, in view of the bar under Section 468 of Cr.P.C. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2.In view of the above, FIR in Crime No.09 of 2013 on the file of the respondent police is hereby quashed. This, Criminal Original Petition is allowed.

Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
