The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the competent authority to consider the representation of the petitioner is the Deputy General Manager - Chennai Retail Regional office of Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited, having office at Petro Bhavan, No.82, TTK Road, Alwarpet, Chennai - 600 018 and hence, the operative portion of the order dated 25.06.2021 passed in the writ petition bearing no.467 of 2021 issuing direction to the first respondent authority, may be amended appropriately.

2.There is no serious objection on the side of the respondents for such amendment.

3.Considering the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of this petition and also having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing for the parties, this court is inclined to grant the relief as sought in this miscellaneous petition.

4.Registry is directed to amend the paragraph no.5 of the order dated 25.06.2021 passed in WP.No.467 of 2021, in the following manner: "5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and as agreed by the learned counsel appearing for the parties, this court directs the Deputy General Manager - Chennai Retail Regional office of Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited, having office at Petro Bhavan, No.82, TTK Road, Alwarpet, Chennai - 600 018, to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 11.11.2020 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as the third respondent, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."

Except the above, the order dated 25.06.2021 remains the same in respect of other aspects.

5.Accordingly, this miscellaneous petition is disposed of. 26.08.2021 vum
