ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to issue a non-traceable certificate for the petitioner's missing sale deed document vide No.397 of 2003 on the file of S.R.O. Magudanchavadi, Salem district, within a time as fixed by this Court by considering petitioner's representation dated 17.05.2023.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that petitioner lost the sale deed document vide No.397/23 registered on the file of SRO, Magudanchavadi, Salem. He filed petition seeking non-traceable certificate on 17.05.2023. So far no order is passed and therefore, this petition. 3.In response, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) submitted that there are certain guidelines to be followed for issuing nontraceable certificate. If, petitioner gives fresh representation, following the guidelines issued, the respondent would take appropriate action on the basis of the guidelines issued and pass appropriate orders. 4.Recording the submission of learned Government Advocate (Criminal 2/5

side), this Criminal Original Petition is closed directing the petitioner to give fresh representation following the guidelines issued by the Police Department and on such filing of fresh representation, respondents are directed to consider the representation in the light of guidelines issued and pass appropriate orders in the manner known to law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
