PETITION under Article 226 of The Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to grant patta to the petitioner pursuant to the petitioner's representation dated 6.10.2015.

ORDER

Mr.R.Govindasamy, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner.

2. The petitioner seeks a direction to to the respondents to grant patta to her pursuant to her representation dated 6.10.2015.

3. Apart from the ration card and voter identity card, there are no other records to show that the petitioner is the owner of the property for 60 years. The petitioner admits that she is in possession of a Government property.

4. There is no vested right created in favour of the petitioner in respect of the Government property. Therefore, no Writ of Mandamus can be granted.
