Petition under Article 226 of The Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to dispose of the petitioner's representations dated 15.10.2015, 2.11.2015 and 13.11.2015 and assign the house site patta land to the petitioner for residential purpose. ORDER
Mr.R.Govindasamy, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner.
2. The petitioner seeks a direction to the respondents to consider her representations and grant a house site patta. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
3. The grant of free house site patta is left to the discretion of the Government and no positive direction can be issued by way of a Writ of Mandamus. Therefore, the prayer sought for is rejected.
4. Hence, the writ petition is dismissed. No costs.
