Seeking directions to the respondents, to dispose of the representation dated 05.02.2025, submitted by the petitioner to the 4th respondent with a copy to the 1st respondent, on merits and in accordance with law, the present writ petition is filed.
2.Mr.M.Shajakhan, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for R1 and R4. Dr.T.Seenivasan, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for R2 and R3.

3. By consent of both the parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
4. The petitioner is a member of the Adi Dravidar Community and resides at Panjupettai Village. The petitioner functioned as a Ward Councillor for Ward No.4, Walajahpet Municipality for 20 years. The petitioner claims to be a social worker engaged in the upliftment of the marginalised Adi Dravidar Community people. While so, the petitioner submitted a representation on 04.09.2024, to the Hon'ble Chief Minister Cell, along with 110 village people objecting to the purchase and promotion of layout by the 5th respondent of the lands comprised in T.S.No.224/10A and T.S.No.224/10B Panjupettai Village, Walajahpet, to an extent of 2 acres. The petitioner claimed that the request for grant of patta for the community people was pending with Government and therefore, no approval should be granted to the 5th respondent for forming the layout. In pursuance of the petitioner's representation dated 05.02.2025, although 4th respondent issued a letter dated 20.02.2025, stating that the petitioner's representation was registered as complaint and further action would be taken, as per the Government Rules, however, no action was taken. Aggrieved by the inaction of respondents, the petitioner filed the above writ petition for the aforesaid relief.
6. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice if, this Court directs the respondents, to consider the petitioner's representation dated 05.02.2025, and pass orders within a stipulated time.
7. In view of the above facts and considering the limited relief sought for by the learned counsel for the petitioner, without going into the merits of the case, I direct the respondents, to consider the petitioner's representation dated 05.02.2025 in the light of the reply letter dated 20.02.2025 of the 4th respondent and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight(8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

8. With the aforesaid direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 23.06.2025 msv Index :
