By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.
2. The case of the petitioner is that he has completed the Diploma in Leather Technology and appointed as Junior Training Officer in the trade of Leather Goods Marker (LGM) by the second respondent on 07.04.1992. The next promotion is Assistant Training Officer. Since the respondents have converted the Assistant Training Officer trade to some other trade, the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
petitioner was not promoted and now, he is eligible to be promoted to the post of Training Officer. Therefore, he submitted a detailed representation to the respondents on 08.09.2015. However, it has not been considered so far. In the meanwhile, several juniors of the petitioner have been promoted and hence, the present writ petition.
3. Heard Mr.P.Kannan Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Ms.M.E.Raniselvam, learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents.
4. This Court, considering the limited prayer sought for in the writ petition and without going into the merits of the same, directs the respondents to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 08.09.2015 and pass order on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner.
5. With the above said direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
