This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus forbearing the respondents from in any manner proceeding to issue patta to any one in Survey No.245/2 in Kuppandampalayam Village, Anthiyur Taluk, Erode District.

issuing any patta with respect to the subject property on the ground that the subject property has been categorised in the revenue records as Government 'Kallankuthu Poramboke' land. 2.

The learned Special Government Pleader, on instructions and based on the counter affidavit filed by the third respondent, has taken a very specific stand that no patta applications have been received by the revenue office from any one and that no patta will be issued with respect to the subject property, since the same has been categorised in the revenue records as 'Kallankuthu Poramboke'. 3.

In view of the specific stand taken by the third respondent in the counter affidavit, the apprehension raised by the petitioner is sufficiently answered and no further orders can be passed in this Writ Petition and accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
