This Criminal Original Petition has been preferred to call for the records pertaining to the case registered in First Information Report in Crime No.123 of 2017 on the file of the 1st respondent and quash the same as illegal in so far as the petitioner alone.

2. Heard Ms.Lavanya, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.A.Damodaran, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent.

When the matter was taken up for hearing today, Mr.A.Damodaran, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent submitted that the investigation in this case has already been completed and the charge sheet has been referred "as further action dropped" and a notice for referring the charge sheet has also been served on the 2nd respondent/de-facto complainant.

4. In view of the above submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, nothing survives for further consideration in this Criminal Original Petition and the same is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
