ORDER

The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police to investigate the case in connection with Crime No.383 of 2015 pending on his file and file the final report within a stipulated period.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that he has lodged a complaint with the respondent police as against one Senthil and five others and the same was registered in Crime No.383 of 2015. Though the said complaint was registered as early as in the year 2015, till date, final report was not filed. Hence, the present petition.

3. I have heard the learned Additional Public Prosecutor.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the respondent to investigate the case https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

in Crime No.383 of 2015 pending on his file and file a final report, if not already filed, as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The Criminal Original Petition is ordered accordingly.
