This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner, seeking anticipatory bail in Crime No.4 of 2024, registered for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 420 and 506(1) of IPC.

2. This Court, after hearing both side counsel, by order dated 02.07.2024, granted anticipatory bail to the petitioner with a condition "that the petitioner is directed to deposit a sum of Rs.1,50,000/- in Crime No.4 of 2024 before the learned Magistrate concerned within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. Subsequently, on 30.07.2024, at the request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court extended the time till 14.08.2024, to comply with the above said condition, failing which, the interim anticipatory bail granted to the petitioner will automatically stands cancelled and directed the Registry to list the matter on 14.08.2024 for "reporting compliance".

drl hence, the matter was directed to be listed today under the caption "for dismissal".

4. Even today, (28.08.2024) there is no representation for the petitioner.

5. Therefore, the order of interim anticipatory bail granted by this Court to the petitioner on 02.07.2024 stands cancelled.

6. In view of the same, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed for non-prosecution.
