PRAYER:

Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 15.10.2013 and further direction to make a verification and spot enquiry to ascertain the number of subscriber connections made with the petitioner's firm and to charge them accordingly. ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 15.10.2013.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 and 3 and the learned Counsel appearing for the respondents 2 and 4 and perused the materials available on record.

3. According to the petitioner, he is a Cable TV operator and he is having only 400 connections, but the respondents are demanding payment for 500 connections. So, he gave a representation. Since it was not considered, the present writ petition.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that after filing of this writ petition, the petitioner is doing payment only for 400 connections, which is also accepted by the respondents.

5. In the light of the above submission, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 15.10.2013 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law.

6. With the above observation, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
