ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the Respondents to consider the case of the Petitioner for a notional promotion to the post of Laboratory Assistant from the date of promotion given to his Juniors Shantha and Selvam with all consequential benefits and to fix the basic pay of the Petitioner on par with the basic pay fixed for his juniors and consequently revise his pension.

2. This court heard the learned counsel on either side and also perused the materials placed on record.

3. Though the prayer in this Writ Petition is to direct the Respondents to give notional promotion to the post of Laboratory Assistant and to fix the basic pay on par with his juniors and consequently to revise his pension, seeking such a https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

relief, the Petitioner made a representation dated 4.8.2012 to the 1st Respondent and the same is pending consideration. Hence, it is suffice to direct the 1st Respondent to dispose of the said representation. Accordingly, the 1st Respondent is directed to dispose of the representation of the Petitioner dated 4.8.2012, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
