Prayer: The writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent herein to consider and pass orders on the appeal dated 18.12.2007 preferred by the petitioner within a stipulated time frame.

The relief sought for in this writ petition is for a direction to the respondent to consider and pass orders on the appeal dated 18.12.2007.

2.The learned counsel made a submission that the writ petitioner was an employee of Tamil Nadu Marketing Corporation LTd.,(Central)working in retail shop and he was terminated from services. Challenging, the termination order in proceedings dated 19.11.2007, the writ petitioner preferred an appeal to the appellate authority on 18.12.2007 and the same is yet to be considered.

3. Thus, this Court without going into the merits of the matter, the respondent is directed to consider the appeal preferred by the writ petitioner on 18.12.2007 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of. However, no order as to costs.
