The present miscellaneous petition has been filed seeking to condone the delay of 1320 days in preferring the Criminal Appeal in filing the appeal against the acquittal judgment passed in S.T.C.No.14 of 2016 dated 07.09.2018 on the file of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Perambalur.

2. Though name of the respondent was printed in the cause list, he has not entered appearance either in person or through counsel.

3. Having satisfied with the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit filed in support of this petition, this petition stands allowed.

4. Registry is directed to number the Criminal Appeal, if the papers are otherwise in order and list the same for admission.
