O R D E R

This writ of mandamus has been filed by the petitioner seeking directions to the respondents herein to pay the terminal terminal benefits to the petitioner.

2. The petitioner got retired from service on 31.05.2018 with a Relieving Letter from the respondents wishing his retirement life to be happy, wealthy and with prosperity.

3. As the retirement benefits have not yet been paid, the petitioner submitted representations to the respondents, dated 16.08.2018 and 30.08.2018, requesting them to pay the retirement benefits along with the interest. As the same have not yet been https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

considered till date, this writ petition has been filed.

4. At the outset, the learned standing counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents seeks time to pay the retirement benefits to the petitioner, by way of instalments.

5. Under such circumstances, the respondents are directed to pay 50% of the retiremental benefits due to the petitioner in one lumpsum within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and the remaining amount shall be paid in another three months, thereafter. In case of failure, the same should be paid with 6% interest per annum.

6. With the above directions, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
