ORDER

By consent of both parties, the present writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. Alleging that the fifth respondent, being the President, had misappropriated the Panchayat Fund, the petitioner, being the Vice President, has made a representation to the first respondent on 31.10.2015. Seeking appropriate action on the said representation, the present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner.

3. Considering the same and without going into the merits of the case, a direction is issued to the first respondent, to pass appropriate orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 31.10.2015, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner as well as the fifth respondent.

4. With the above direction, the present Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
