ORDER

This Writ Petition (Criminal) has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to take appropriate action against the respondents 3 to 10 based on the petitioner's complaint dated 18-03-2026, and to consequently direct the respondent Police to provide police protection to the petitioner for entering into his lands in S.No.203/2B1, to an extent of 1 Acre, situated at Aniyapuram Revenue Village, Mohanur Taluk, Namakkal District. 2.

Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed on record.

It is seen that the petitioner has lodged a complaint dated 18.03.2026 before the second respondents seeking for the aforesaid prayer and the same is still pending without any progress.

In view of the facts and circumstances of the case, the second respondent police is directed to conduct an enquiry on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, after issuing notice to the petitioner and the respondents 3 to 10, and dispose of the same on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition (Criminal) is disposed of. No costs.
