ORDER

The prayer in the Writ Petition is to direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 22.04.2025 and to issue bonafide certificate in the name of Saraswathy @ Ramani within the time limit fixed by this Court.

2. Upon hearing the learned Counsel for the petitioner and perusing the affidavit filed in support of the Writ Petition, the petitioner is known by two names namely, Saraswathy and also Ramani. She approached under various beneficial schemes to obtain pension for her husband. The bonafide certificate mentioning that Saraswathy and Ramani are one and the same person and that the petitioner is entitled for the same is not issued so far. Hence, the benefits are not granted to the petitioner. Therefore, the petitioner has come before this Court.

3. When the matter is taken up for admission, the learned Additional 2/6

Government Pleader for the respondent would submit that the application was submitted to the authorities only on 22.04.2025. Therefore, they have to enquire and pass orders.

In view thereof, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the respondent to conduct an enquiry on the request of the petitioner, dated 22.04.2025 within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a webcopy of this order without waiting for a certified copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
