O R D E R

The petitioner seeks for a direction to the District and Sessions Court, Ooty, the Nilgiris, to dispose of Crl.A.No.2 of 2012 filed by the respondent within a stipulated time.

2. This Court called for a report from the District Judgecum-Chief Judicial Magistrate, Udhagamandalam and a report dated 23.04.2015 has been sent by the Magistrate, in which after giving reasons for the delay in disposal of C.A.No.2 of 2012, the learned trial Judge has stated as follows:

"I further humbly submit that there is no delay on my part as I have taken charge only on 06.11.2014. Therefore, I humbly beg to submit that I will take all sincere efforts to dispose of the matter at the earliest."

3. In view of the above, the learned District Judge-cumChief Judicial Magistrate, Udhagamandalam is directed to dispose of Crl.A.No.2 of 2012 within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. The criminal original petition is disposed of with the above direction.
