ORDER

The petitioner is the accused in C.C. No. 133 of 2008 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Ariyalur. He seeks transfer of the trial in the calander case from the file of Judicial Magistrate, Ariyalur to the file of learned Judicial Magistrate, Perambalur on the ground that he apprehended danger at the hands of the defacto complainant and his friend Thirumavalavan. According to me, the Calander Case was filed in the year 2008 and for the past seven years, the petitioner was able to face the defacto complainant and also attend the proceedings before the trial court. Admittedly, after filing the present petition, there was no complaint given by the petitioner in relation to any harassment confronted by him at the instance of the defacto complainant and his friend. Therefore, at this stage, I do not find any reason to grant the relief of transfer of the calander case in C.C. No. 133 of 2008 from the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Ariyalur, as prayed for by the petitioner. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
