The petitioner earlier worked as Anganvadi Nutritious Organizer at Centre No.99, Pulikkal Village. The petitioner was transferred to Centre No.100, vide order dated 29.03.1993. The said order was cancelled by the 3rd respondent by order dated 12.04.1993. The petitioner has been sending representations requesting the respondents to consider her for appointment. She made a final representation on 24.11.2014. The present request is to direct the 1st respondent to consider the said representation and to give her appointment.

2. There is no question of directing the 1st respondent to give appointment to the petitioner straightaway, without calling for applications. In case, there are vacancies in the post of Anganvadi Worker or similar other posts, necessarily notification should be issued by the 1st respondent. It is open to the petitioner also to apply pursuant to the selection notification. In case she makes an application, the same shall be considered on merits and taking into account her earlier service.
