Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of The Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first and second respondents to hold enquiry with third respondent on the fraudulent Patta No.3337 of 2013 and dated 04.02.2013 issued by the second respondent in favour of third respondent, which is illegal and consequently direct the second respondent to cancel the Patta No.3337 of 2013. ORDER

By consent of both parties, the present writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

The petitioner has made a representation to the first respondent on 18.02.2015 stating that by playing fraud, a patta has been obtained by the third respondent with respect to the property situated in S.Nos.601/3B, 602/2, 612/4, 610 and 442/B1 at Pullarambakkam Village, Tiruvallur District. Seeking adjudication on the said representation, the present writ petition has been filed.

Considering the pendency of the petitioner's representation with the first respondent and without going into the merits of the case, the said authority is directed to pass appropriate orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 18.02.2015, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner as well as the third respondent.

4. With the above direction, the present Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
