The petitioner sought for a declaratory relief forbearing the respondents from removing him from the post of Chairman of Agricultural Advisory Committee in Chengam Taluk.
2. When this Writ Petition was called today, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
submit that as per the guidelines, the Chairman of the Block Farmers Advisory Committee (BFAC) was elected out of the committee members on ratio basis and the duration of BFAC is only two years, after which new set of farmers will constitute the BFAC.
3. The learned Additional Government Pleader would further submit that the BFAC consisting of 25 members was constituted on 11.10.2011 and as such, the period of the committee had ceased to exist from 12.10.2013 onwards and hence, no further adjudication is necessary in this Writ Petition.
4. In view of the above submissions, this Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
