ORDER
The petitioners have filed this Criminal Original Petition to call for the record relating to the FIR in Crime No.15 of 2012 pending on the file of the first respondent police and quash the same.
2. Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the case in Crime No.15 of 2012, after completion of investigation, was referred as "Mistake of Fact" and the final report was also filed to that effect before the jurisdictional Court. He further submitted that on receipt of the RCS notice, the second respondent / defacto complainant filed a protest petition in Crl.MP.No.6236/2013, which was, after hearing both sides and upon perusal of the records, dismissed and the final report was accepted, by order dated 03.01.2014 passed by the learned Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai.

3. In view of the above, nothing survives for adjudication in this matter. Hence, recording the submission so made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is closed. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is also closed.
