ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) The order dated 2.8.2011 passed in the writ petition, which is alleged to be violated, has been complied, as recorded in the order dated 23.7.2012 passed in this contempt petition. However, the contempt petition was kept pending awaiting the result of the matter pending before the Apex Court, though it cannot have any impact on the contempt petition, because if the judgment sought to be complied is reversed, the appropriate order would be passed by the Apex Court therein.

2. In view of the above, we do not find any reason to further defer the contempt petition, the compliance having been made. The notice of contempt is discharged and the contempt petition is ordered to be closed. There will be no order as to costs.
