ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police to register a case against the accused persons based on the petitioner's complaint dated 24.06.2016. 2.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State, who would submit that the complaint dated 24.06.2016 has been sent by post to the respondents.

In view of the above submission, the petitioner is directed to appear in person before the second respondent police, along with a copy of this order and lodge a fresh complaint, containing the very same contents as stated in the previous complaint dated 24.06.2016. On receipt of such complaint, the second respondent police is directed to conduct enquiry and take action thereon in accordance with law, if it discloses the commission of a cognizable offence or drop action otherwise. During enquiry, if it transpires that the second respondent police does not have territorial jurisdiction, the complaint can be transferred to the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

jurisdictional police. Needless to state that the petitioner shall cooperate in the enquiry.

With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
