When the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that petition enquiry is pending in this case.

2. In view of the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), a direction is issued to the petitioners to appear for enquiry before the respondent police daily at 10.30 a.m. for a period of one week and thereafter, as and when required for interrogation. The respondent police is directed to complete the enquiry, within a period of eight weeks. Pending enquiry, the petitioners shall not be arrested.

3. The petition is disposed of accordingly.
