ORDER
(Order of the court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) We have heard Mr.R.Munuswamy, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.P.Muthukumar, learned State Government Pleader, assisted by Mrs.R.Anitha, learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents.
2. According to learned counsel for the petitioner, an auction has been conducted for fishing rights. The water is being pumped out and the same would cause loss to the villagers.
3. Learned State Government Pleader, on instructions, submits that on 22.6.2023 there was a meeting and thereafter the auction proceedings have been stopped.
4. In the light of that, the apprehension of the petitioner does not survive. The writ petition, as such, is dismissed. There will be no order as to costs. Consequently, W.M.P.No.17881 of 2023 is closed.
