Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of The Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the fourth respondent herein to consider the petitioner's representation dated 18.10.2015 to restore petitioner's revenue records in property bearing S.No.347/4 to the extent of 2.25 acres which is situated in Ulipuram Village & Post, Gangavalli Taluk, Salem District and direct the fourth respondent and to cancel the patta bearing No.1458 in favour of the fifth respondent in bearing S.No.347/4 to the extent of 20 cents which is situated in Ulipuram Village & Post, Gangavalli Taluk, Salem District.

By consent of both parties, the present writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. With the grievance that despite the pendency of the civil suit and without affording an opportunity to the petitioner, the fifth respondent has changed the property belonging to the petitioner in his name, a representation was given by the petitioner on 18.10.2015. Now, seeking to dispose of the said representation by the fourth respondent, by following due procedure, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. Considering the above, a direction is issued to the fourth respondent, to pass appropriate orders on the pending representation of the petitioner dated 18.10.2015 with respect to S.No.347/4 situated in Ulipuram Village & Post, Gangavalli Taluk, Salem District on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner as well as the fifth respondent.

4. With the above direction, the present Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
