Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.C.RAJAGURU, Advocate for the petitioner and of M/S.

SURANA & SURANA on behalf of the Respondent the court made the following order:- This is a petition to extend the time to comply with the order passed by this Court in Crl.M.P.No. 7259 of 2017 in Crl.R.C.No.792 of 2017, dated 13.6.2017. By the said order, this Court has directed the petitioner to deposit a sum of Rs. 3,00,000/- (Rupees Three Lakhs only) to the credit of C.C.No.2463 of 2008 on the file of the Metropolitan Magistrate, Fast Track Court No.IV, George Town, Chennai within a period of two weeks from the said day itself.

2. However, by this petition, the petitioner has averred that due to various reasons, he could not mobilise the funds and comply with the order within the time stipulated. Today, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that if further two weeks time is given from today, certainly the conditional order dated 13.6.2017 would be complied with.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the respondent.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the respondent would submit that if at all any further time of two weeks is given, as claimed by the petitioner, that shall be strictly construed from today and within which if the conditional order already passed is not complied with by the petitioner, the further natural corollary would be permitted to take place.

5. Considering these submissions made by both sides, two weeks time granted by this Court by order dated 13.6.2017 is further extended up to 21.7.2017 within which the said order shall be complied with by the petitioner without fail.

6. It is made clear that on or before the said date, if the conditional order, dated 13.6.2017 is not complied with by the petitioner, the interim relief granted by this Court by the said order shall stand automatically vacated.
