ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to register the petitioner's complaint dated 04.08.2016 sent by Registered Post with Acknowledgment Due.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents/State.

On a complaint given by one Palanimuthu, a case in Crime No.493 of 2016 has been registered against the petitioner under Sections 294(b), 323, 324, 506(i) and 307 IPC. As a counterblast, the petitioner has sent a complaint dated 04.08.2016 by post. Under such circumstances, no positive direction can be issued to the respondent police to register an FIR, as prayed for.

In the result, this Criminal Original Petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedy in the manner known to law.
