With the consent of both sides, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal.

The petitioner has come forward with the present Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to proceed further in accordance with law in the matter of selection of retail outlet dealership pursuant to the letters in 1)CDO/RO Advt/171014/233 dated 10.08.2015 by Indian Oil Corporation Limited, the 2nd respondent herein, 2) CH.TR.GEN dated 12.09.2015 by Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited, the 3rd respondent herein, 3) CIN : L 23201 MH 1952 GO 1008858/Ref:CHRRO/PNS/RET dated 04.09.2015 by Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited, the 4th respondent herein.

3. Heard the submissions of learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing for the respondents.

4. When the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that now, the third respondent had issued a letter of intent in favour of the petitioner. Since the letter of intent has been issued, the prayer sought for in the present Writ Petition has become infructuous.

5. In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, I am of the opinion that there is no need to give any specific direction to the respondents.

6. Recording the said submission, this Writ Petition is closed as infructuous. No costs.
