JUDGMENT

(Judgment of the Court was delivered by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.) This writ appeal is directed against the order dated 19.10.2012 made in W.P.No.29016 of 2012.

2.What has been challenged in the writ petition is the order of transfer. It is submitted by the learned counsel appearing for the appellant that nothing survives in the writ appeal as the appellant has been transferred subsequently to some other place. Now, he is working at Tiruttani. Therefore, the writ appeal stands dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.

3.However, with respect to benefits, which according to the appellant, he has been denied and the amount due to him, it is open to him to make a request to the appropriate authority as we are not

inclined to consider the same, being outside the scope of the writ petition.
