With the consent of the learned counsel appearing for the parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal, at the admission stage itself.
2. Heard Mr.R.Gururaj, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.R.Rajeswaran, learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents.
3. This writ petition has been filed praying to direct the respondents to pay compensation in respect of S.No.183/1 Hec.).27.0 in Kayalpattu Village, Cuddalore Taluk, Cuddalore District under the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 (Act 30/2013).
4. The petitioner, has submitted a representation, on 2/10/2015, to the third respondent, claiming compensation for the land, utilising the petitioner's land by taking over the same under the provisions of the Tamil Nadu Acquisition of Land for Industrial Purposes Act, 1997.
5. The aforestated representation has been received by the respondents as could be seen from the copies of the postal acknowledgement card filed in the typed set of papers.
6. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that a reasonable time may be granted to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 2/10/2015.
7. In the light of the above, the third respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 2/10/2015 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording personal hearing to the petitioner, within a period of three months, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
8. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
