Heard Mr.C.Ananda Ramani, learned counsel for the petitioner; Mr.V.Shanmuga Sundar, learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.

2. This Writ Petition has been filed challenging the proceedings initiated under Section 203 of the Tamil Nadu Panchayats Act, withdrawing the cheque signing power of the petitioner, when he was functioning as President of Kaliyanur Panchayat in Namakkal District.

3. Mr.V.Shanmuga Sundar, learned Special Government Pleader submitted that the term of the petitioner had already been expired and the Writ Petition has become infructuous. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. In the light of the above fact and submission of the learned Special Government Pleader, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. There is no order as to costs.
