Prayer:- Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the first respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 09.04.2013 within the stipulated time.

For Petitioner : Mr.T.Muruganantham For Respondents : Mr.R.Govindasamy Special Government Pleader.

O R D E R

Heard Mr.T.Muruganantham, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.R.Govindasamy, learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner had presented a settlement deed on 07.03.2012, in the office of the second respondent after paying the required stamp duty. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the second respondent without numbering the settlement deed, has kept it pending without assigning any reason till date.

Hence, the petitioner had given a representation dated 09.04.2013 to the second respondent in this regard.

3. The learned Special Government Pleader would submit that if a specific direction is given to the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation, the same would be complied with.

4. In such circumstances, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to consider the petitioner's https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

representation dated 09.04.2013 on its own merits and pass orders in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.

5. With the above direction the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
