ORDER

This Civil Revision Petition is filed seeking a direction to dispose of the HMOP.No. 1006 of 2021 pending on the file of the Sub Judge, Sub Court, Alandur, Chengalpattu.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the 1/4

materials available on record.

3. On a perusal of the records, it is seen that the petitioner/husband married the respondent/wife on 03.02.2012. After the marriage, the respondent picked up quarrels with the petitioner without any valid reason, thereafter, there was some difference of opinion between them, the petitioner filed HMOP.No. 616 of 2018 against the respondent for divorce on the ground of cruelty before the Subordinate Court, Tambaram, Chennai and the same was trasferred from Sub Court, Tambaram, Chennai to Suborinate Court, Alandur, Chennai. The above petition filed in the year 2018 and the respondent filed counter statement in the transferred HMOP.No. 1006 of 2021 and the same has been pending for six years without any progress. Therefore, the petitioner seeks a direction to dispose of the above HMOP.

4. Taking into consideration of the above facts and the submissio made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court directs the Trial Court to dispose of the HMOP.No. 1006 of 2021 pending on the file of the Sub Judge, Sub Court, Alandur, Chengalpattu, within a period of one 2/4

year from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, the Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
