ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 4(1) (aaa), 4(1-A) (ii) of TNP Act, r/w 6, 7 TNRS Rules, 2000 in Crime No.54 of 2020,on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner and other accused persons were found in possession of 240 liters of ID Arrack. Hence, a case was registered against the petitioner.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent person and she has been falsely implicated in this case. He would also submit that this is the second anticipatory bail, earlier petition in Crl.O.P.No.9470 of 2021 was dismissed by this Court on 26.05.2021. Hence, he sought for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) would submit that the petitioner and other accused were found in possession of 240 litres of ID Arrack. He would also submit that there are twelve previous cases pending against the petitioner. Hence he vehemently opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case that the petitioner is a habitual offender and there are twelve previous cases pending against her, and there is no change of circumstances, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

6. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as no merits.
