Respondents Prayer: The Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to sanction a sum of Rs.2,00,000/- from petitioner provident fund account to purchase a plot by considering representations of the petitioner dated 20.11.2015 14.12.2015 and 07.01.2016.

By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. The writ petition is filed for direction to the respondents to sanction a sum of Rs.2,00,000/- from the petitioner's provident fund account for purchasing a property.
3. According to the petitioner, he was appointed as conductor in the respondent Corporation on 07.04.1989. He entered into an agreement with one Kaliyamurthy to purchase a property at Kuriamangalam Village, Bhuvanagiri Taluk, Cuddalore District.

4. The petitioner would state that as per the Provident Fund Rules, he is entitled to get a loan from his provident fund account. As on date, a sum of Rs.2,10,776/- is lying in the credit of the petitioner. Therefore, he made a representation dated 14.12.2015 to the second respondent seeking loan of Rs.2,00,000/- and subsequently, he gave a representation to the first respondent on 07.01.2016. Since it was not considered, the present writ petition has been filed.
4. Heard Mr.D.Soundarraj, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.P.Paramasivadoss, learned counsel, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.
5. This Court, considering the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner and without going into the merits of the case, directs the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 07.01.2016 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner.
