The present Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarifed Mandamus to call for the records on the file of the 3rd respondent in Ref.No.055/2018/E1 dated 03.08.2018 by confirming the order passed by the 3rd respondent in Se.Mu.Na.No.P A/627/2016/P5 dated 18.11.2017 and to quash the same and consequently direct the respondents to reinstate the petitioner into service with all consequential service and monetary benefits.

2. When the present Writ Petition is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner died on 10.01.2020 at Tanjavur Medical College and Hospital, Tanjavur, thereby seeks to dismiss the petition.

Considering the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner died on 10.01.2020 at Tanjavur Medical College and Hospital, Tanjavur, the question of reinstating the petitioner does not arise and present Writ Petition is dismissed as abated with liberty to the family members of the petitioner to seek benefits, if any.
