ORDER

Seeking issuance of passport, the present writ petition is filed.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the respondent based upon the counter affidavit submitted that a case has been registered in Cr.No.1362/13 for alleged offences under Sections 448, 452 & 506(ii) I.P.C and under Section 75(1)(c) of TNCP Act before Ukkadam police station. This factum has not been disclosed by the petitioner and that is why show cause notice has been issued.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner was not originally included in the case registered. Only, thereafter, he was roped in. That is the reason why he has not disclosed it in the application.

4. Be that as it may, now that the show cause notice has been issued. The petitioner after receiving the said notice did not submit any explanation.

5. Thus, writ petition is disposed of giving liberty to the petitioner to give explanation to the notice within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of the same and on receipt of the same, the respondents shall pass appropriate orders within a period of four weeks, thereafter. No costs.
