2/4 Contempt Petition has been filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, to punish the respondents for disobeying the order, dated 03.08.2021, passed in W.A.No.389 of 2020.

For Petitioner : Mr.S.Sathiaseelan For respondents : Mr.R.Neelakandan, Addl. Advocate General, assisted by Mr.C.Jayaprakash, Addl.Government Pleader.

ORDER

When the matter is taken up for hearing today, Mr.R.Neelakandan, learned Additional Advocate General, appearing for the respondents, has submitted that in compliance with the order of this Court, dated 03.08.2021, passed in W.A.No.389 of 2020, the Government has issued G.O.(Ms).No.262, Higher Education (B2) Department, dated 22.11.2022, absorbing the petitioner into service. He has also produced a copy of the said G.O. before the Court.

2. Therefore, this Contempt Petition is closed. No costs. If the petitioner is aggrieved over the said G.O. with regard to entitlement of more benefits, if any, than what is stated in the G.O., it is open for him to challenge the same in accordance with law.
